We were married on December 26, 2001 in the small town of Ashland, Virginia, and since then, we have wanted to document our experiences together and share some of them with family and friends via the web...so here they are.
Tiffany was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota (oh, you betcha...) and chased the sun down to the border town of San Diego in early 1998. She currently spends her days researching and developing tools for immunologists, helping others who suffer from HIV and other diseases. She's a volunteer (and she has taught me a lot about volunteering). She spends her spare time knitting various warm things for those cool coastal nights and occaisonal mountain adventures. Tiffany is a hiker, an ascender of high mountains. She also dances several traditional forms including Irish step, and styles from Appalachia. She's read everything including the phone book and is nutty in love with Duncan, Jake and Holly (and me when I don't smoke cigarettes). And she's just about the finest wife a fella could have.
I am a native Virginian (y'all sit a spell), but have always felt a gravitational pull towards the west coast as well. I moved out to San Diego in the summer of 1999. And soon after, I met Tiffany in La Jolla...land of biotechnology and Torrey pine trees. When I am not working on web stuff, I try to remember words to my favorite songs and strum mandolins and guitars.
